Xbox and Netflix announced a partnership today where you will be able to use your NetFlix account to stream movies onto your Xbox and watch them on your TV.
Kind of an alternative to buying a Ruku (see previous post) box if you already have an Xbox 360. All it requires is an Xbox live account and the minimum $9 monthly NetFlix account, and you'll get all of the ulimited streams to your Xbox and TV. Depending on the speed of your connection you'll get close to DVD quality and with Xbox being HD capable in the future there is room for streaming HD movies.
One also other very cool feature, is that people with Xbox Live and Netflix accounts will also be able to share downloaded videos via the Internet to watch them together remotely. Now that's pretty cool.
This service will start this Fall so look out for those Xbox 360 updates.
