What song is that?!...Shazam knows!!

Ok so by far one of the coolest FREE apps I've found is an app called Shazam. It's for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

So have you ever been in the car, watching TV, at a club, or in an elevator and thought, man what song is this, this is really good. Then you spend hours searching on Google with nothing but a few words to search for and usually you end up frustrated and end up quitting. Well with Shazam you can kiss that good bye. Basically with this app all you do is hold your iPhone near whatever song you are listening to, and it will record 12 seconds of it send it to the Shazam servers and SHAZAM!! It will send you back the name, artist and album.

During my tests I've been amazed at its accuracy it's been 100% right thus far. But not only does it tell you who sings the song and the name, but it gives you the option to but it on iTunes with just a touch of a button! AND it gives you links to videos on YouTube that you can watch of that particular artist. It's pretty Captain Insane-o.

I would definitely recommend this app to anyone out there who is a music fan or who has the eternal question, "What's the name of that song?!" It's a really slick application, but hurry it's only free for a limited time so go out there and get installing!!!
