Hey so I've been on a very long hiatus, don't know why just because I'm lazy but I did want to blog something for the new year.
Now Boxee is nothing new, it's been out for quite sometime but it's very unknown and I tried it for the very first time on my Macbook Pro and guess what? I freaking love it.
What does Boxee do? Well with all kinds of free TV content on the web, how do you consolidate it all and not have to go to like 100 web pages to watch and stream etc. Well Boxee does that for you and in a very nice interface very Apple TV like if you've ever seen one. It streams free shows from all your favorite networks like, CBS even sites like Hulu. Plus some cable channels like CNN and Comedy central. It's hard to explain really without actually trying it, I suggest you just try it.
Not only does it do TV but it does Pictures, Movies, and Music. I like the streaming music from Pandora, Last FM etc. It's an awesome piece of software and if you have a home theater PC/Mac then you need to d/l and install Boxee, it's just all kinds of awesome.
